High School Sweethearts

I created this blog in the middle of immense boredom and thought it would map out the road of our journey together. Oh, sorry, this is the life and journey of two friends who eventually became Romeo and Juliet.

Her name is Ashely. 21. Senior in college with a major in Chemistry minor in education. Cancer survivor of 6 years. Sunday school teacher. Works as a Nursery worker within her church. Lives at home with her parents and siblings: a younger sister and brother.  Hometown of Murfreesboro, TN.

His name is Allen. 22. Junior in college with a major in English. Football and softball player. Sunday school teacher. Works as a Security Guard. Lives at home with his grandparents. Hometown of Louden, TN.

It all started our April sophomore year in high school, 5 years ago. It was raining, and I was coming out of school early. Eagerly trying to find my Aunts SUV with the rain pouring. Wearing my blue rain coat trying to stay as  dry as possible. Little did i know someone was watching me. He had just gotten back from a culinary arts competition and was waiting in his car right in front of me. Me drenched from head to toe, he just watched, dry in his air conditioned car. The rain soon died off and my Aunt pulled in her normal parking spot so I began to dry off as much as i could. One thing we didn't know was that his best friend was dating my best friend and we were waiting for the same vehicle. That day of meeting led to the nearly extinct AIM chatting till the wee hours of the night.
Friends soon turned into more than friends and eventually high school sweethearts. Don't get me wrong, those five years weren't smooth sailing. So many trials in our lives that have either tore us apart, brought us closer together, or completely exploded everywhere. Stepped away from our relationship twice but always knew we were right for each other. He was my only and I was his.

This blog is about us. About our journey in life. The good and the bad. From the beginning till the end and everything in the middle.
