mini vacation

Our mini vacation was much needed. We had so much fun doing absolutely nothing. Allen and I went and spend two days at his grandparents camper in Crossville. We left after I got finished with the nursery Tuesday night and got into bed just before midnight. The next morning, we didn't have a plan what we were going to do. We brought frozen waffles for breakfast and got ready for the day.

Before we went shopping, Allen wanted to gallivant around Crossville. After driving 30 minutes the opposite way we finally found the  worlds largest playhouse. This place was amazing. I was built with a chapel inside. Carved nativity scene out of wood

This place is a child's paradise. All the passages and stairs led up to the top of the tree house. When we got to the top, we saw this down below. The wind was blowing so hard that the top was swaying making us sick.

After lunch and shopping we stopped in at this winery on the way back. Allen loves wine except for sweet wine that I like. Strawberry wine is my favorite but they didn't make it there. They had a peach wine. It was delicious. So we left with a bottle for me and a bottle for him. When we got back the fridge didn't seem that cold so he put them in the freezer while we watched a movie and forgot about them until we got back from dinner. Guess what, wine can freeze lol! They sat by the heater waiting to thaw. The funny thing is, after they thawed went to open then with the cheap ($1.06) cork screw and they were impossible to open. I think Allen was more bummed than I was.

That trip, even though it was only 2 days, was so much fun. Definitely going back this summer when it is warmer so we dont have to sleep with a space heater on and when the water is turned on.
